Bound Tree Medical Grants Division helps Four Fire and EMS Departments Secure Funding for New Safety Equipment

Dublin, OH – February 4, 2005 – Bound Tree Grants, a new service designed to streamline and expedite the grant research and writing process for Fire and Emergency Medical Service providers, has assisted four customers in receiving grant money for Injury Prevention equipment since November 2004.

The Bound Tree Grants Division, whose services includes grant research and writing, has assisted Trotwood Fire and Rescue, Fairborn Fire Department and Norwood Fire Department in Ohio, as well as Rushford Ambulance Service in Rushford, Minnesota, procure grant money from state agencies.

Gene Lutz, Assistant Chief, Trotwood Fire and Rescue, stated he would not have been able to purchase the four stair chairs and four lifts, used for injury prevention and patient comfort, without the Safety Intervention Grant Program located by Bound Tree Grants. According to Lutz, Bound Tree Grants made the process easy on him by locating the grant and performing majority of the work involved with the application process. Lutz stated he looks forward to working with Bound Tree Grants Division on future funding opportunities.

Julie Ziebell, Director, Rushford Ambulance Service, said that she would not have been able to purchase the two stair chairs, used for injury prevention and patient comfort, without the Safety Hazard Abatement Grant located by Bound Tree Grants. According to Ziebell, the rising cost of medical supplies and equipment has made successful grants and fundraising efforts crucial to the survival of her ambulance service.
